In Dishonored on my first playthrough, I killed pretty much everybody I encountered and was on High Chaos. I got to the last mission, where Samuel the Boatman drops you off at the lighthouse. He gave me quite a lecture, basically told me to f*** off and, before leaving, shot in the air after I disembarked to warn my enemies. Then I watched him drive off. I felt immense regret, loaded my save and as I left the boat, this time I immediately turned and shot an arrow through the traitorous bastard’s neck. Proceeded to kill everyone leftrt in peace.

In Mass Effect, there were a few decisions that I regretted, but not immediately. They were the Renegade choices that were too cool not to make, but then later on IN THE TALI LOYALTY MISSION I didn't have enough Paragon points to persuade the admiral guys to think tali's dad was good and it was become i headbutted the krogan and shot the pipes and tasered the other guy.

I regret killing all enemies in Dishonored. When the ending rolled, I realised that I didn't want the legacy to be built like that. On a pile of death and bones. It's just something that you work so hard for, but then you realise that your actions had been wrong and that all of them had consequences which you did not realise at the moment. Revenge was the motive, blinded to what it would yield.

I kinda regretted killing Darko Brevic from GTA IV. The reason being is after he betrayed Niko’s unit, the guy’s life went completely down the shitter. When he was thrown from the IAA(Liberty Paper’s Organization) van the guy was drunk and most people don’t just walk away from betraying people who went through hell with them lightly as evidenced by him being a drunk and potential drug addict. That’s why I kinda have some respect for Roman because he’s pointing out that Darko just self destructing in the hopes of killing himself and that Niko(the player) killing him is exactly what he wants and that leaving him alive is the worst thing he could do to him. Needless to say, I just shot him in the head and called it a day but knowing that I could’ve let him suffer through his miserable existence to the day he die. Yeah needless to say on my three playthroughs I let him live just for that reason

As you have played you know how many side quests for your team rely on you being pro NCR this is the way better option.

The thing about Catwoman is that, in the continuity Arkham City is set in, she & Bats are an item. She's actually in love with him (until she runs out on him in the comics, but that's a whole thing). Whether or not you attack and kill Priscilla, I feel like there's a certain point in Dark Souls where you realise you're the bad guy and regret everything you've done so far in the game. You could maybe overlook the fact that you're a walking corpse that draws power from the souls of the dead and is satiated by primordial fire; but around the time that you're taking orders from a giant snake monster and fighting a noble white wolf to the death so you can pillage the grave of a legendary knight, it at least started to occur to me that maybe this isn't what most good guys are doing with their spare time. By the time I completed the game, I realised that the dark spirits who had been thus far impeding by journey were actually stopping me from making the same mistakes they had made and that's how I became a Darkwraith. Since then I feel I've done more to protect the sentient, intelligent inhabitants of Lordran than I ever did as a so called 'Warrior of Sunlight', especially after seeing how many people kill the hollow merchant at the beginning of the game, just to get his samurai sword... Why him? Poor little Yulia...

I want the reverse of this: choices you *should regret* (due to loss of stats, bonus, treasure, etc...) but don't. For me, it was Zaed in Mass Effect 2. He died in the suicide mission because I failed his loyalty. But fuck that guy. I don't kill innocents to help mercenaries. I mean, missed out in some extra content (tiny, but still) and a trophy (which I fixed with a reload and different assignments for completion sake, but didn't save the file). The thing I regretted most was saving Ashley on Virmire. Played the Mass Effect trilogy so often with Kaidan already and I was curious how it would be with Ashley. Well, I can't even say that I hated Ashley - because hate is a passionate feeling and passion is what I absolutely lack for Ashley. Ok, so, this is minor, but in Star Wars The Old Republic, on the Sith Warrior story. I decided to just say fuck it and fully immerse in the dark side. So much I felt bad about. Leaving Vette's shock collar on. Killing the guy Darth Baras sends to greet you in Dromund Kaas. Telltale Walking Dead season 1 for sure was up there for me. Most of the decisions didn't matter in the end (illusion of choice and all), but I DID regret... restraining Lilly and letting Kenny kill Larry. Whether you restrain Lilly or help her try to resuscitate Larry, Lerry dies. But I felt bad restraining Lilly because you briefly saw Larry seeming to come to and be perfectly fine just before Kenny slammed the salt block on his head. My story with Wrex is funnier (I guess?). During my first play of ME1 I thought he just HAVE TO die - I literally tried every dialogue combination and he always ended up bleeding on the floor (damn you, Ashley, you murderous bitch!). Then I finished the game without my favourite Wrex, immediately went for ME2 and after I landed on Tuchanka, Wrex's brother (?) told me something that made me wonder "Did Wrex really have to die?" - so I googled it and found out....HE DID NOT! I just need to visit the Vermine a bit later, after some more chit chat with him on Normandy! So I in a blink of an eye started new game of ME1, SAVED Wrex with some manly cry of a true happiness, finished the game (again) and started ME2 (again)...even though I was in half of the game already, but who cares, WREX IS ALIVE NOW!!

I'm coming here from beautiful, indie, platformer land, specifically Hollow Knight. Best game in the universe in my opinion. MAJOR SPOILERS FOE THIS DLC SO IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED IT YET, PLLEAASEE DO, ITS EXTREMELY WORTH IT. There have recently been a bunch of DLCs released, one of them being the Grimm Troupe dlc. This haunted circus looking tent kinda thing appears when you find a special thing somewhere and you meet this creepy ringleader looken guy called Grimm and some of his posse. Well, he says since you are the one that summoned him, you must now prove your worth by collecting a bunch of scattered red fire magic things guarded by his minions. After you get about half the flames and bring them back to him, he fights you in front of his whole group. Once you win he sends you out to get the last few before fighting him in the "final performance" kinda thing. Well when you go to gather these, you find one of his minions that has a good heart, and is concerned about the fate of the world you summoned them to. He says that if the ritual continues, the place will be completely consumed. He says he wants to banish Grimm forever, and if you want to help, come to the place where you summoned them. Not wanting all my friends to die, and trying to do the right thing, I did exactly that. Ok. I had no idea what would happen if I "banished" them. I didn't know if it would actually work, I didn't know if they would come back some how, I had no idea. I DID however, know that there was eventually an ultimate-super-hard fight between you and super-hard-evil Grimm, because my brother unlocked the Grimm Troupe before me. When I met up with the not-evil, rebellious minion and destroyed the thing that brought them to this world, I didn't know that that would aaccttuuaallyyy send them away. IT DID. I went back to the town and they were just gone. No trace of them anywhere. The badge thing that Grimm gave me to collect the fire was no longer in my inventory. They were gone. The only thing that was different, was in the town, there was a new "stranger". It was the rebel minor without his culty Grimm mask on, all happy and not evil. He gives you a badge to replace the one you got from Grimm. Now I'm sure some of you are thinking, "that's totally the good end, right!???" Well sure its morally good, BUT I WANTED TO FIGHT SUPER HARD GRIMM AND NOW ILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE WHOLE GAME AGAIN TO GET TO THAT CHOICE AGGAAINNNN. IT TOOK ME A GOOD 50 HOURS TO GET THERE AND THE GAME WASN'T EVEN 85% COMPLETE. but I know I'm gonna do it anyway so why am I even complaining. *ssiigghhh* its a really really good game and you should definitely give it a try. Its only like $12 anyway.
